This guide is for the United Kingdom.
Overview
Seal one offer per car. Your figure is private: only the vendor and the desk see it.
Before You Seal
- Ensure your account is verified
- Check your subscription quota — one active offer per car
- Review the car, its documents and the inspection summary
- Decide whether you want the offer subject to an independent inspection
Sealing an Offer
- Browse the cars currently offered
- Open a car
- Click "Seal offer"
- Enter your offer in GBP
- Choose the shipping method: RoRo, container or air
- Tick "Subject to independent inspection" if you want the offer contingent on it
- Review the all-in landed total — duty, VAT, shipping and registration — shown before you seal
- Click "Seal offer"
For a wanted car, give the candidate chassis number and its mileage as well.
Tips
The figure:
- Seal the offer you mean: there is no live bidding and no clock
- Read the landed total before you submit; it is what the car costs you all-in
The terms:
- Shipping is part of the offer: RoRo, container or air
- A subject-to offer carries the inspection finding recorded against it
- A firm offer is a commitment with no inspection contingency
Your quota:
- One active offer per car
- You can withdraw an offer and seal another while the window is open
- At your plan's limit, withdraw an active offer to seal a new one
