Messages run through offr. There is one thread per offer, and you can write to the other side while the offer is active or accepted.
How to Message
From an Offer
- Open your dashboard
- Open the car
- Find the offer
- Choose 'Message'
- Type your message
- Choose 'Send'
From Your Dashboard
- Open Messages in the dashboard nav
- Open the thread you want
- Type your message
- Choose 'Send'
What to Ask
Good Questions
- Can I arrange another viewing?
- Which documents come with the car?
- What did the inspection find?
- When could the car be released?
Keep It on offr
- Keep contact and negotiation in the thread
- The thread is the record both sides can see
- Don't share sensitive personal information
Response Times
The desk replies within one business day. Buyers and suppliers answer at their own pace, so allow a day or two for a viewing or a question.
Notifications
The bell in the dashboard header shows new messages and offer activity. The desk also emails you when a message arrives.
