Buying

1. What is offr? offr is a private desk for sealed offers on collector cars. Every car is presented with its documents, and offers are made by invitation, never in public. The desk introduces buyer and vendor; it is not a party to the sale.

2. How does it work?

  1. Request access — tell the desk what you collect.
  2. View privately — documents, provenance and inspection, by appointment.
  3. Seal one offer — before the closing date. The vendor accepts one, or none.

3. Is this an auction? No. There is no live bidding and no clock. You seal one offer before the closing date; the vendor reads every offer privately and accepts one, or none.

4. Who sees my offer? The vendor and the desk. No other buyer sees your figure, and results are never published.

5. When will I hear? After the closing date. The vendor reads every offer privately and accepts one, or none; you hear from the desk either way.

6. Can I make my offer subject to inspection? Yes. Each car is presented with an independent inspection summary [CONFIRM inspector process], and your offer may be made subject to inspection.

7. What does it cost to make an offer? [FEE MODEL — LUKIAN TO CONFIRM]

8. How are funds handled? Funds are held in escrow until the car changes hands. offr introduces the parties and never holds your money. [CONFIRM escrow partner]
